Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (Dialysis & Oncology)
Day Street Bairnsdale
The building design has primarily been based around the defined use of the facility being for Dialysis and Oncology patients from local and surrounding rural areas. With the nature of the treatments, large amounts of time are spent in the building whilst receiving treatment. With this in mind it was our intention to provide a relaxing environment with a continuous connection to the outside. This visual stimulation and connection beyond the confines of the treatment bays create a far more relaxed atmosphere with the option for a visual escape for the patient's family and staff from within.
